I started thinking about what I will do different with baby #2 and what I won't use, and what I most definately need to buy. Thankfully there weren't a ton of things that came to mind, but I did manage to think up some alterations in my mothering plan. Like the fact that I need to purchase more pumping equipment to make nursing last longer, and how I want to start right off the bat with a noise machine to hope to help with sleep! I'm not yet sure if I want to start the pacifier and deal with having to eventually get rid of, or deal with the repercussion of a paci dependant baby, but it definitely would have its benefits. I think I want to wear my baby a great deal more, and possibly go to cloth diapers...having said that, in my search for irresistible baby "needs" I came across some images that made me very happy. some are much more practical than others :)
If I should find out that I am having a girl, I WILL be attempting these!
SO happy!
I HAVE to have a friend who can just whip these up for me...LIZ? anybody?
I think I am going to invest in a Moby Wrap. I love the closeness, and the comfort of the cloth. My sister gave me a wonderful shower gift of a maya wrap, however, the fabric was a bit less soft, and I never quite mastered it.
My sister-in-law had a noise machine similar to this one, and it attached to the car seat, crib or ANYWHERE. I was jealous! I would love to leave Benjamin's noise machine in the bedroom, and leave this one in the car!
More wish list items to come...Right now I am too tired!

both of my sisters-in-law use cloth diapers and love them.
I'm glad you're going to try the teacup idea!! I found some cute little glasses at a garage sale i'm going to use to make my mom some candles.
I used 3/4 can of store bought frosting per one box of cake. They are pretty sweet. I used a cookie dough scooper to make my balls and they seemed to be about the right size.
are you sticking them in styrofoam once you've coated them?
i made the balls up, froze them, dipped the ends of the sticks in the liquid frosting, stuck them in the balls (let them dry - just a few seconds), and then coated each one. i decorated them and then stuck the sticks in styrofoam to dry completely. i found that was the easiest.
