a mover and a shaker

Our baby is wild. We dont know the sex, but boy or girl, this child is crazy. For about an hour and a half this morning I've been convinced that a little leg or arm is going to pop out of my belly button.
I have been feeling great, but Christmas day was a little rough. I wasn't feeling at the top of my game, but thought I was just tired or something. I COMPLETELY over did it on my moms potatoes and spaghetti corn. (I thought it was necessary to mix them together) And three helpings later I rolled downstairs for an hour nap. I really didn't feel well when I woke up, and to make a long story short, I got the flu that night. I though it was simply over-eating, but the nurse at my OB office, said I had the flu. YUCK!
Well I hope you all had a very merry christmas. I will hopefully get some great family pictures up soon!

"weighting" for christmas

So at my last dr. visit, I accidently admitted my love for caffeine, and consequently got in trouble. I also gained too many pounds, and again got in trouble. I looked at my doctor and admitted that I wasn't really planning on trying very hard to contain myself during the holidays, to which she was rather disheartened. I guess one of two things will happen...I will indulge myself and come close to doubling the 3-5 lb monthly goal, or the quantity of food I consume wont be that much greater than what I normally feed this baby, therefore, I'll be pleasantly suprised. Either way I'm sure to be fat and happy this blessed christmas week, and hope the rest of you can say the same. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a full plate!

Blogging beginnings

  • So as i begin blogging, I am 24, I have been married 3 years and am in my 22nd week of pregnancy. I guess this will be a great place to "show off" my growing belly, vent about pregnancy stesses, and learn from others who have blogged about similiar situations. Its challenging to keep everyone updated on baby news, without boring people with information only me as a mom finds interesting. This way I can verbally vomitt about my "news", without forcefeeding it to any of you innocent friends. So read at your own risk. I cant wait to brag about my growing baby, and go on about how incredibly blessed we feel that God includes us in this incredible process of creating life. Hold on for sneak peaks into the Lewicki's insane, unpredictable and a bit uncensored world. We hope that God uses this page to speak of His amazing work in our lives, and that He uses you to help us as we seek to lead our family in His will.
